وَإِنَّ الدّينَ لَواقِعٌ

Judgment will take place.

وَالسَّماءِ ذاتِ الحُبُكِ

By the woven sky.

إِنَّكُم لَفي قَولٍ مُختَلِفٍ

You have conflicting views.

يُؤفَكُ عَنهُ مَن أُفِكَ

From it, the deviators deviate.

قُتِلَ الخَرّاصونَ

Perish the falsifiers.

يَسأَلونَ أَيّانَ يَومُ الدّينِ

They ask, “When is Judgment Day?”

يَومَ هُم عَلَى النّارِ يُفتَنونَ

The Day they will be tried over the Fire.

ذوقوا فِتنَتَكُم هـٰذَا الَّذي كُنتُم بِهِ تَستَعجِلونَ

“Taste your ordeal. This is what you sought to expedite.”

إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ في جَنّاتٍ وَعُيونٍ

The righteous will be in gardens and springs.

آخِذينَ ما آتاهُم رَبُّهُم ۚ إِنَّهُم كانوا قَبلَ ذٰلِكَ مُحسِنينَ

Receiving what their Lord has given them, for they were good doers before that.
