وَإِنِ امرَأَةٌ خافَت مِن بَعلِها نُشوزًا أَو إِعراضًا فَلا جُناحَ عَلَيهِما أَن يُصلِحا بَينَهُما صُلحًا ۚ وَالصُّلحُ خَيرٌ ۗ وَأُحضِرَتِ الأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ۚ وَإِن تُحسِنوا وَتَتَّقوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرًا

If a woman fears ill-treatment or estrangement from her husband, there is no fault in them if they reconcile. Reconciliation is always preferable, yet human nature gravitates towards selfishness. If you behave with righteousness and reverence, God is Ever-Aware of what you do.

وَلَن تَستَطيعوا أَن تَعدِلوا بَينَ النِّساءِ وَلَو حَرَصتُم ۖ فَلا تَميلوا كُلَّ المَيلِ فَتَذَروها كَالمُعَلَّقَةِ ۚ وَإِن تُصلِحوا وَتَتَّقوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ غَفورًا رَحيمًا

You will never be able to treat women with perfect fairness, no matter how sincere your intentions. Therefore, don’t incline excessively towards one and leave the other hanging. And if you act righteously and practice piety—God is ever Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقا يُغنِ اللَّهُ كُلًّا مِن سَعَتِهِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ واسِعًا حَكيمًا

If they do separate, God will suffice each from His bounty. God is All-Encompassing, All-Wise.

وَلِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۗ وَلَقَد وَصَّينَا الَّذينَ أوتُوا الكِتابَ مِن قَبلِكُم وَإِيّاكُم أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَإِن تَكفُروا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَميدًا

Everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to God. We’ve instructed those who were given the Scripture before you, and also you, to fear God. If you disbelieve, know that everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to God. God is Independent and Praiseworthy.

وَلِلَّهِ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَما فِي الأَرضِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكيلًا

Everything in the heavens and on earth is God’s, and God is enough to rely upon.

مَن كانَ يُريدُ ثَوابَ الدُّنيا فَعِندَ اللَّهِ ثَوابُ الدُّنيا وَالآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ سَميعًا بَصيرًا

Whoever desires the reward of this world—with God is the reward of the world and the Hereafter. God is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا كونوا قَوّامينَ بِالقِسطِ شُهَداءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَو عَلىٰ أَنفُسِكُم أَوِ الوالِدَينِ وَالأَقرَبينَ ۚ إِن يَكُن غَنِيًّا أَو فَقيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَولىٰ بِهِما ۖ فَلا تَتَّبِعُوا الهَوىٰ أَن تَعدِلوا ۚ وَإِن تَلووا أَو تُعرِضوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرًا

O you who believe, stand firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even if against yourselves, or your parents, or your relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, God is more worthy of both. So, don’t follow personal inclination to avoid justice. If you distort or refuse—God is fully aware of what you do.

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا آمِنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ وَالكِتابِ الَّذي نَزَّلَ عَلىٰ رَسولِهِ وَالكِتابِ الَّذي أَنزَلَ مِن قَبلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكفُر بِاللَّهِ وَمَلائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَاليَومِ الآخِرِ فَقَد ضَلَّ ضَلالًا بَعيدًا

O you who believe, believe in God and His Messenger, and the Scripture He revealed to His Messenger, and the Scripture He revealed before. Whoever denies God, His angels, His Scriptures, His messengers, and the Last Day, has strayed far away.

إِنَّ الَّذينَ آمَنوا ثُمَّ كَفَروا ثُمَّ آمَنوا ثُمَّ كَفَروا ثُمَّ ازدادوا كُفرًا لَم يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغفِرَ لَهُم وَلا لِيَهدِيَهُم سَبيلًا

Those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe, then disbelieve and increase in disbelief—God will neither forgive them nor guide them on any path.

بَشِّرِ المُنافِقينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم عَذابًا أَليمًا

Announce to the hypocrites that they will have a painful torment.
